Husson University is a private institution in Bangor, ME that provides students with a professionally focused education informed by the sciences and humanities. The University offers 67 innovative undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of business, health, communications, criminal justice, technology, education, science and the humanities. 

Husson’s campus is known for its specialized labs and innovative learning spaces that allow students to turn theory into practice. These include nursing bays with programmable lifelike “manikins,” a financial technology center with stock ticker displays and interactive touchscreens, audio and video editing rooms, as well as a broadcast and recording studio.In 2021, the University will open a new 42,500 square foot College of Business building, featuring experiential classrooms with advanced technology. 

Students from 31 countries and 44 states attend Husson and enjoy its close-knit campus atmosphere. They hone their leadership skills in 40+professional, cultural and social student clubs and organizations. The University also offers 22 varsity sports programs that consistently advance into conference and NCAA tournament play. 

Husson students participate in internships, clinicals, practicums and rotations which gives them the experience and connections they need to build a career. Within 12 months of graduation, 96% of Husson alumni are employed or in graduate school.

Transfer students find a warm welcome here. Husson makes the transfer process simple by evaluating credits promptly and accepting up to 90 credits. To keep a Husson education affordable, the University offers academic scholarships to transfer students.
