Campus Location

Quinnipiac University is located in Hamden, Connecticut, just eight miles from New Haven and midway between New York City and Boston. Quinnipiac is a suburban campus enrolling 7,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students.

Every year, Quinnipiac University welcomes as many as 250 transfers. They quickly become part of Quinnipiac's top-notch academic programs and lively student community, which supports more than 160 student organizations and an intriguing array of events and activities.

Quinnipiac is comprised of 600 acres on three sites. The Mount Carmel campus is adjacent to 1,700-acre Sleeping Giant State Park. The picturesque campus includes the main library and learning commons, a real-time financial technology center, a high-definition television production studio, a recreation/fitness center, outdoor tennis courts and athletic fields.

The nearby 250-acre York Hill campus, with panoramic views of the region, offers suite-style housing for juniors and seniors with kitchens, a lodge-like student/recreation center, and a twin arena sports center.

The North Haven campus, just four miles away, provides upper-level and graduate students in the Schools of Education, Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, and Law  with a state-of-the-art setting on 100 acres.

At college you learn to balance work and play. At Quinnipiac, you'll find facilities, classes and activities that will get you going, keep you interested and make you fit. And if you want to sit on the sidelines, you can support one of Quinnipiac’s highly ranked varsity teams.

Transfer students are encouraged to attend an open house, which features important information about each of our academic programs and about transferring to Quinnipiac. Additional information sessions are held in late November, January, February and March.
