Talented, ambitious, and creative students of all cultures and backgrounds experience RIT’s innovative and specialized curriculum.  Our nine colleges offer more than 90 bachelor’s degrees in addition to our growing number of minors.

 

The foundation of an RIT education is built upon a combination of dedicated and experienced faculty, strong liberal arts base, undergraduate research opportunities, and experience gained through cooperative education, internship programs, and study abroad.

 

Each year, RIT enrolls over 1100 new transfer students and another 2400 freshman to our Rochester, New York campus.  Our diverse student body comes from all 50 states and over 100 countries.  Our students can be described as talented, creative and active members of the RIT community.  

 

At RIT, we want your education to continue beyond the classroom.  Our students become involved in the RIT community by joining our active campus life.  Our diverse student body is reflected in the variety of activities on campus.  There are more than 200 different student clubs and organizations that range from hobby and special interest to music, ethnic and 24 intercollegiate & intramural sports.

 

RIT has a long history of providing educational opportunities to qualified transfer students regardless of their families’ economic circumstances. We offer a comprehensive financial aid program consisting of merit scholarships and a full range of need-based grants, loans, and campus employment programs.
