A division of the Touro College and University System, the New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) helps prepare students for success in their professional lives. With two- and four-year degree programs in Business Management and Administration, Human Services, Psychology, Biology, Information Systems, Digital Multimedia Design, and many other fields, NYSCAS helps students gain the knowledge and skills they will need to excel in their careers. Students who want to pursue a graduate degree in Education, Pharmacy, or Computer Science can also take advantage of accelerated pathways into graduate school.

Each year, NYSCAS welcomes nearly 400 transfer students into the Touro family, joining thousands of undergraduates already enrolled across our sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. As with our other students, transfers may choose the location they find most convenient. No matter which location they select, they will benefit from small classes taught be esteemed faculty who bring both theoretical and real-world experience in their fields to their curricula.

Students will also experience the rich diversity of the student body. Transfers from many different backgrounds, cultures, countries, and walks of life come to NYSCAS to take advantage of the personalized educational experience it offers. Designed as a college that accommodates students who lead busy lives, the school offers convenient options, including morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and online classes, to fit into the hectic schedules of working professionals and recent high school graduates alike.

Transfer students will meet with admissions and financial aid counselors to discuss their individual situations and how Touro can best accommodate them. NYSCAS staff will carefully evaluate every transcript to ensure that transfers receive course credit for material that aligns with Touro’s curriculum. Students can expect this kind of personal attention in their courses and beyond throughout their time at NYSCAS.
