If you've got a good start on your college education, UTICA UNIVERSITY is a great place to learn, grow, and finish strong. Utica accepts maximum transfer credits and offers easy transition via articulation agreements with a growing number of institutions.
Utica University’s academic programs integrate liberal and professional studies with a strong emphasis on internships, research, and other experiential learning opportunities, but Utica is best known for the close, personal relationship students have with both faculty and staff members. More than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students attend Utica, including students from a wide variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds as well as international students.
Utica University offers a variety of undergraduate majors and graduate programs in rapidly growing professions such as cybersecurity, financial crime, nursing, physical therapy, sports management and health care management. New facilities include a new 23,300 square-foot Science Annex with research and learning facilities in STEM fields; Thurston Hall, a state-of-the-art facility for advanced learning in construction management; the new Francis A. Wilcox Intercultural and Student Org Center; and a new Track and Field Complex.
In fall of 2016, Utica University ushered in a new era for college affordability, reducing the cost of undergraduate tuition and fees by 42 percent for all new and returning students in the on-campus undergraduate programs.
Located in a suburban residential area of Utica, New York, Utica University’s modern, 128-acre campus offers excellent learning, living, and recreational facilities. Students can take part in any of more than eighty student organizations focusing on community service, music, theater, and politics as well as fraternities, sororities, and major-related clubs that provide opportunities for students to organize academic and career-related events. Utica University also offers twenty-six NCAA Division III varsity sports and is a member of the Empire 8 Athletic Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Through Utica’s Esports Club, students can compete with rival teams in East Coast Conference Esports and represent the University on a national stage.
